Wednesday 12/Feb/2020 Dr. Jason Norris on Hyperadrenocorticism

Dr. Jason Norris discusses up-to-date information on the pathophysiology, clinical signs, diagnostic testing, treatment and monitoring of Cushing’s disease as well as some common questions and challenges faced by clinicians.

Dr. Norris is a 2010 graduate of the Atlantic Veterinary College in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. He spent a little over a year in clinical practice before moving into industry where he spent 5 years as a Technical Services Veterinarian in the field of veterinary pet nutrition. His main interests include internal medicine, clinical pathology and nutrition.

Dr. Norris started his role as Technical Services Veterinarian with Dechra Veterinary Products in September 2016. Dr. Norris also holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of New Brunswick and enjoys applying his analytical skills to his veterinary cases. In his spare time Dr. Norris likes to maintain a healthy mind and body and enjoys weight training and reading.

Thanks to the generosity of Dechra, this dinner talk will be free to QDVA members, non-members and staff. Attendance is limited to about 70 people. To ensure all members can be accommodated, some registration restrictions apply. Each attending veterinarian can bring two lay staff. Please register by 5 p.m., Friday, February 7th, 2020. If we still have room after the deadline, an email will be sent out inviting more staff members to attend.

The session will be held as usual at the Belleville Club, starting at 6 p.m. sharp. Doors open at 5:30. p.m.
