At the next QDVA dinner meeting of the 2016 fall/winter CE session, Dr. Guillaume Cloutier, will review new indication for Vetmedin, Boehringer’s smartphone app, updates on feline pain management, vaccine protocols and the latest info on feline renal disease.
Dr. Guillaume Cloutier is a Technical Services Veterinarian at Boehringer Ingelheim (Canada) Ltd. and is responsible for supporting sales of Boehringer Ingelheim veterinary products by providing technical information and assistance to veterinarians and academics.
Dr. Cloutier joined Boehringer Ingelheim (Canada) in 2011 as a Technical Services Veterinarian. Prior to joining Boehringer Ingelheim, he held positions including an internship in equine sports medicine at Fairfield Equine Associates in Connecticut and Florida followed by a role as a practitioner for equine and small animals in Lachute, Québec for three years. Dr. Cloutier has a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Université de Montréal. He is passionate about evidence-based medicine and improving the level of care for pets. In January, 2016, Dr. Cloutier published an article on the prevalence of different canine parvovirus strains in Canada in the Canadian Veterinary Journal. Dr. Cloutier is currently based in Montréal, Québec.
Thanks to the generosity of Boehringer Ingelheim, this dinner talk will be free to QDVA members and staff. The cost for non-member DVMs and staff is $65 per person.
Attendance is limited to about 70 people. To ensure all members can be accommodated, some registration restrictions apply. Each attending veterinarian can bring two lay staff. Please register by 5 p.m., Thursday, October 21st. If we still have room after the deadline, an email will be sent out inviting more staff members to attend.
The session will be held as usual at the Belleville Club, starting at 6 p.m. sharp. Doors open at 5:30. p.m.
