The next QDVA dinner meeting of the 2017 CE session, work-shop type format will entail observing videos of common client interactions that occur at veterinary hospitals. The audience will have the opportunity to discuss and critique important core communication skills, and their utilization (or not!) to create a more positive client experience.
Heather Lowe AHT, MBA: Heather’s career in industry included time in pharma and nutrition sales, sales management, marketing, and ultimately as Canadian Veterinary Business Director for Medi-Cal Royal Canin Veterinary Diet. During 2013/2014 Heather helped launch Rayne Clinical Nutrition Canada into the Canadian market. She started Heather Lowe Veterinary Consulting Inc. in 2011 and with 3 colleagues began Quadrant Veterinary Management Group in 2012. Her consulting role focuses on inter-team communications, client communications, strategic planning, marketing and conflict resolution. She is on the Board for the Ontario Veterinary College’s Pet Trust Fund, chairing the Marketing Committee. Heather, her husband, and two daughters are passionate pet owners and enthusiastic consumers of veterinary care, with a 4-legged family of 3 canine companions, an amputee cat, a horse and a rabbit.
Attendance is limited to about 70 people. To ensure all members can be accommodated, some registration restrictions apply. Each attending veterinarian can bring two lay staff. Please register by 5 p.m., Friday, January 27th. If we still have room after the deadline, an email will be sent out inviting more staff members to attend.
The session will be held as usual at the Belleville Club, starting at 6 p.m. sharp. Doors open at 5:30. p.m.
